Sunday Serenity

Not a sound on the beach
But the crunching of my feet
And the gentle sound of the tumbling waves.

The white bird glides over the shimmering evening waters
I stroll the deserted stony beach.

Calmness seeps through to my very being
Equilibrium is restored
For the busy week ahead.

xx

@BavarianSojourn: And it was particularly so last night. I tuned off my iTunes when I hit the beach and stopped to sit on a rock mid-stroll to absorb it all. Heaven!
